18-wheeler Accident Results in Fatality On February 11th, 9th, an 18-wheeler failed to yield the right of way to a passenger vehicle.  Troopers responded to the site of the crash which happened north of Monahans on State Highway 18 and Loop 464. responders to the 18-wheeler accident said that the passenger vehicle was traveling northbound on Hwy 18 and the semi-truck was stopped on the loop at the intersection's stop sign. The driver of the big rig did not yield to the other automobile and drove into the intersection where it struck the car.
